DIY Washi Tape Keyboard Decals

Hello!

I'm back again with another.....*drum roll please!*................................  DIY post!  Ooops ^-^ !  Well, you guys did say that you wanted some more diys so I guess I shouldn't feel toooooo bad.  But I PROMISE the fashion post is coming up soon!  I just haven't gotten it right yet :P  Anyways!  I hope you guys enjoy this DIY!!!  :)

So I've been seeing a lot of keyboard decals on Pinterest and Etsy lately but once again (flashback to my DIY Sugar Lip Scrub Post ) , I am cheap!  I am not willing to pay 20+ dollars for stickers, that just seems ridiculous to me....so I decided to make some of my own with one of my favorite things;  WASHI TAPE! (I'm very obsessed)

All you need for this DIY is washi tape, scissors, and the keyboard of your computer, laptop or tablet (also a sharpie and a ruler to measure the size of your keys are optional).

Decide which keys you want to put decals on and where you want each color of tape to go.  Then, cut out pieces of tape that fit the sizes of your keys.  I decided to just do a few but covering all the keys would look great as well!

(optional) If you're worried about not being able to identify your keys, you can draw the symbol on your washi tape decals :)

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!  Let me know in the comments :)

  2. I love the idea of just doing a couple keys! Sadly I only have one roll of music note washi tape. Maybe this will make me go out and get some more types!

Oh yes! What a great excuse to go out and buy more washi tapes ;) I've actually found a few of my favorite ones at the dollar store for super cheap! So you could check there for a bargain...or Michaels and other craft stores always have plenty :)
