Writting Contest!

Hello :)
Over the past few months I've seen a lot of bloggers do writing contests and I thought it would be fun to do one as well!  The rules are:
1. Your entry must be appropriate (think PG)
2. Please write a short story or a poem (any genre)
3. Remember to write a story/poem, not an entire novel!
4. Email your entry to me at macmastergirls@yahoo.com
5. You must have your parents permission to enter as I will need your address if you win
6. I will post all the entries on my blog when the contest is over
7. I will announce the winner October 12th :) So make sure to check back to see if you won! IMPORTANT:  I HAVE DECIDED TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE TO OCTOBER 22ND)
8. This writing contest is not international.  Sorry : (

    Neato! I'll have to see if I can enter this! I have a short story already written, but I think I'd like to write up something new. You aren't giving me much time though! ;) Haha!

      Hmmm...I hadn't really thought about that! This one probably won't be (sorry!) only because shipping the prize would be a bit too expensive for me :( I'm so sorry Mahnoor! ♥

    This seems like such a fun writing contest to do!:) Except, I'm pretty busy at the moment.. if you could just extend the time a tiny bit?:) Btw, you have a beautiful blog, followed you!:D

    I so want to do this!! Hopefully I can find some writing inspiration. I'm actually writing a short story for school. It's sorta long but it's not, well extremely long. ;) I think it's like 5 pages on Word when it's double spaced. :) Will I be able to enter that in?

    How short is a short story? Like 10.000 words, 1.000 what? Because I'm going to start writing up my entry now but I would like to know what I'm hitting for. =)
