Breakfast This Morning

Hello!

Today I've got a food post for you!  This is what I had for breakfast this morning and it's something I've been loving lately.  Iced chai tea with fresh peaches!  The iced chai tastes like Autumn to me....it's so delicious!  Enjoy!

Iced Chai Recipe:

DIY Sugar Lip Scrub

Hello :)

I hope all of you are having a great Summer so far!  Today I'm going to share with you a little diy lip product I just whipped up ;)  My friend let me try her bubble gum sugar lip scrub from LUSH and I loved it SOOO much!  But sadly.....it cost about 10$ for one little jar, which turned me off of purchasing one of my own.  I did really love what it did to my lips though, so I looked at the ingredients listed on the jar and decided to try making some for myself!  It was very easy and I had all the ingredients I needed in my pantry at home.  It turned out great and it tastes delicious on your lips!

Ingredients:

3 tsp of sugar (I used white but brown sugar would also work)

1/2 tsp of veg oil (olive, coconut or jojoba oil would also work)

1/2 tsp of maple syrup (or honey)

1 drop of food coloring (I used red)

Steps:

~Put the sugar, oil and maple syrup in a dish

~Mix with a spoon until all the ingredients are combined

~Add one drop of food coloring

~Mix with a spoon until the color is evenly distributed

~Scoop the mix into a little pot or jar and you are done!  Enjoy!!!!

How To Use:

This sugar scrub is to be used for exfoliating your lips :)  So, scoop some out of the jar with your finger and scrub it around on our lips.  Rub your lips together and scrub with your finger to remove dry skin and then lick of the excess sugar!  Yum!  P:

Blackberry pie

Hello there~

There are so many blackberry bushes in my backyard and all along my road!  They're kind of annoying cause no matter how many times you try to get rid of them, they come back again!!!  On the bright side the berries are super yummy ☺  They were finally ripe so we decided to brave the prickles and pick some!  Well, my mom did.  She picked soooooo many so we decided to make a pie!  I helped with that part ☺ Here are a few pictures of it~

So many berries!!!

Lovely lattice~

Yum yum yum!!!

The finished product~

Doesn't it look good?  Anyways!  Don't you find that there is usually leftover crust?  Well I made up a little recipe using what we have left over!  Here it is~

(check it out on my pinterest too, it's a bit bigger and clearer)

You could try making a few changes to it yourself!  Tell me about how yours go in the comments!

~brownie pancakes~

Hello everyone!  I found a recipe on Pinterest for brownie pancakes (sounds soooooo good right?!?) and decided to make them for my dad on Fathers Day.  He is completely obsessed with brownies!  He loves them sooooo much so I thought that this would make the perfect Father's Day breakfast!  I looked at the recipe and it was just normal pancakes with cocoa powder (which does not make it taste like brownie!).  I decided to make a brownie pancake that actually tasted like brownie!  Here's the recipe:

1. In one bowl, prepare the pancake mix using the instructions on the box.

2. In a seperate bowl, prepare the brownie mix using the instructions on the box.

3. Pour about half the brownie batter into the pancake batter and stir until combined (or don't mix compleatly for swirly pancakes!)

4. Cook them as if they were regular pancakes!

5. Use the rest of the brownie batter to make brownies for dessert!

So easy right?!?  Hope your brownie pancakes are a big hit!  Tell me how yours turned out!  I'd love to hear about it!
