Easy DIY jewelry stand

Hello!

Wow.....It feels like I haven't blogged in forever.  I've been taking a bit of a break lately just to take off some of the stress I was feeling from keeping up with school and everything else that's been going on in my life.  But I've missed it, and I'm back for today at least :)  It could be another week or so until I start my regular schedule again, so I hope you don't mind!  But anyway, today I thought I'd share this little diy jewelry stand that I made the other day.  I thought it turned out super cute and I love how it looks on my dresser!  Let me know if you decide to recreate it!

Supplies:

A glue gun
paint
a paint brush
a small plate
a small plastic animal ( I ended up using a giraffe instead of the fawn that's in the picture)

Step 1.

Paint the animal your desired color (I used gold).

Step 2.

Place it where you want it to go on the plate.

Step 3.

Glue it down with your hot glue gun.

Ta daaaa!!!  You've got yourself an adorable little jewelry holder :) I use mine to hold all my favorite pieces and the ones I wear most often.  I just love it and I think it would look so cute with different animals and plates.  I found my plate at a thrift store for under a dollar and I had all the other supplies at home so this was a very inexpensive and cute little project.  I'm really happy with how it turned out!
